Responsibilities
- Provide weekend technical support for hardware/software issues across 50+ workstations
- Assist with network monitoring and basic cybersecurity protocols
- Document IT incidents and maintenance tasks using ServiceNow
- Deploy and configure Windows/macOS systems in a virtualized environment
- Collaborate with on-call engineers for weekend system updates
- Conduct asset inventory management and hardware lifecycle tracking
- Participate in quarterly IT improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing IT/Computer Science degree
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software issues
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 8am-5pm)
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport
- Must receive academic credit approval from institution
