Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ tech trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation roadmap aligned with 5-year market projections
- Prototype and validate future concepts through agile development sprints
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
- Monitor global policy shifts affecting 2026 technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in product innovation, R&D, or strategic foresight
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization insights
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CIMP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-oriented projects
