You'll lead a multidisciplinary team pioneering solutions in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable infrastructure.
Our ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, turns constraints into innovation catalysts, and has a proven track record of scaling futuristic concepts into billion-dollar opportunities. You'll report directly to the Chief Futurist and collaborate with C-suite executives across 15 global R&D centers.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap aligning with UN SDGs and tech convergence trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-biotech hybrid prototypes with 12-month commercialization cycles
- Secure $15M+ annual R&D budget through strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and EU Horizon
- Establish KPIs for 2026 milestones including carbon-negative tech adoption and neural interface scaling
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to the board and key investors
- Mentor a 15-person innovation lab across SF, Boston, and Singapore hubs
- File 10+ patents annually in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level strategic roles
- Proven track record of launching products with 2026+ impact (quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech preferred)
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology roadmapping, and exponential innovation frameworks
- Strong network with government innovation agencies (DARPA, EIC) and Fortune 100 R&D leaders
- Published author on future tech trends or frequent keynote speaker at Davos, SXSW, or Web Summit
- Proficiency in AI-driven innovation tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Foresight Platform)
- Fluency in English with Mandarin or German as a plus for global collaboration
