Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop innovation frameworks and strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify high-impact opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and investors
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of future technologies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and thought leaders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (AI/quantum/bio)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Deep understanding of emerging technology ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) preferred
- Portfolio of published futurist research or strategic frameworks
