Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks for 2026 technological and societal shifts
- Lead cross-disciplinary workshops with C-suite executives on future-proofing business models
- Produce whitepapers on emerging risks/opportunities in autonomous systems and climate tech
- Design ethical governance protocols for 2026-level AI and genetic engineering
- Partner with UN agencies to draft policy recommendations for sustainable development goals
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or technology forecasting roles
- Published research on 2020s societal disruption drivers (e.g., AGI, climate tipping points)
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or renewable energy sectors
- Proven track record advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term transformation
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
