Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging tech domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops identifying disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and space tech
- Produce actionable trend reports influencing $500M+ R&D portfolio allocation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design scenario-planning models for geopolitical and technological black swan events
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight (e.g., MIT Tech Review, HBR)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience with policy development for emerging technologies
