Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Prototype and validate emerging tech solutions in sandbox environments
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build and mentor a specialized futurist research team
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices across R&D
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or R&D leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of implementing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar designation preferred
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals
- Exceptional presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
