Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, and carbon-neutral tech
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential (Web3, neuromorphic computing)
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and executive stakeholders
- Manage $50M+ innovation portfolio and vendor ecosystem for next-gen solutions
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads on future technology integration
- Represent company at global tech summits (CES, Web Summit, Davos)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future tech roadmap development
- Proven track record scaling technologies from R&D to market leadership
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech domains
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Published thought leadership in journals like Nature Futures or IEEE Spectrum
- Fluency in emerging tech frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO 21434)
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD-contracting projects
