Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead ideation sessions to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Design architecture frameworks for interoperable next-gen systems
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and investors
- Mentor junior architects in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture or advanced R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing future-focused technology strategies
- Strong background in systems thinking and complexity modeling
- Certifications in foresight methodology (e.g., CFP, CSSP) preferred
- Experience with stakeholder management across global teams
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
