Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, space tech)
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present future tech strategies to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior innovators in our Future Leaders program
- Author thought leadership for industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of 3+ future-tech implementations
