Responsibilities
- Support patient admission and discharge processes during overnight shifts
- Assist with medical record documentation and data entry in EMR systems
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Monitor equipment functionality and inventory levels in clinical areas
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance audits
- Respond to non-emergency patient inquiries and triage requests
- Document operational observations for daily handover reports
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in healthcare-related program (e.g., Nursing, Health Admin, Medical Tech)
- Availability for night shifts (11 PM - 7 AM) with weekend flexibility
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR)
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
