Apex Logistics Group is currently seeking a dedicated Night Shift Intern to join our Indianapolis operations team. This is a unique opportunity to earn College Credit while working alongside industry leaders in a 24/7 supply chain environment.
We are looking for individuals who want to build a career in logistics but need the flexibility of a night schedule to balance their studies. You will play a critical role in ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly during off-peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in the processing and sorting of incoming and outgoing shipments with a focus on speed and precision.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation using handheld scanning devices.
- Communicate operational updates and discrepancies to the day-shift team to maintain workflow continuity.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and internal logistics software to document daily activities.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be eligible to receive College Credit for the internship (proof of enrollment required).
- Availability to work a consistent Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Basic computer literacy, including data entry and typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
