Responsibilities
- Support Warehouse Operations: Assist in the efficient loading, unloading, and staging of freight to ensure on-time delivery.
- Inventory Control: Help maintain accurate stock levels, perform cycle counts, and update inventory systems.
- Documentation: Prepare and verify shipping labels, bills of lading, and packing lists accurately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and cleaning of warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Team Coordination: Communicate effectively with shift leads and peers to optimize workflow and resolve issues.
- Customer Assistance: Provide excellent service to clients and internal teams by responding to inquiries promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a High School Diploma program or Associate’s degree program (Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred).
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driver’s License: Valid Texas Driver’s License is a plus.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.
- Attitude: Highly motivated, eager to learn, and a strong team player.
