Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and create user personas to inform design decisions
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing)
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback
- Develop design systems and maintain UI component libraries
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and defend design rationale
- Analyze user behavior data to optimize user journeys
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in UX Design, HCI, or related field
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design projects
- Understanding of design thinking methodologies and UX principles
- Experience with user research techniques (interviews, surveys)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Available for 40 hours/week during summer or fall semester
