Responsibilities

- Develop error-correction protocols to advance quantum coherence and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize quantum computing solutions
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from government and private entities
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and computational complexity theory
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Strong grant-writing history with successful funding awards
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to translate abstract concepts into practical solutions
