Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance quantum system stability
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubit platforms
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning models
- Author technical whitepapers and peer-reviewed publications
- Present research findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and graduate interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Proven ability to secure competitive research grants (NSF, DoE, etc.)
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
