In this pivotal role, you will lead the architectural design for our flagship AI platform, ensuring robustness, security, and scalability. You will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade engineering, mentoring a team of brilliant engineers and data scientists.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, model training clusters, and inference engines.
- Model Strategy: Define the roadmap for adopting next-generation AI technologies, focusing on Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Predictive Analytics for 2026.
- Performance Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce latency and improve model inference speeds on edge devices and cloud environments.
- Talent Development: Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all AI systems adhere to strict ethical guidelines, bias mitigation standards, and regulatory compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with model deployment frameworks (TorchServe, TensorFlow Serving).
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- System Design: Proven track record of designing high-availability, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
