Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable systems)
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic foresight to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive adoption of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and innovation processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
