Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians with patient preparation, vitals monitoring, and examination room management
- Manage patient flow and documentation in our EHR system (Epic experience preferred)
- Coordinate patient education materials and appointment scheduling
- Support inventory management of medical supplies and equipment
- Participate in weekend shift huddles and quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care coordination
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in healthcare-related program (Nursing, Pre-Med, Health Sciences)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
- Availability for weekend shifts (minimum 16 hours/week)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
