Are you a college student looking to gain valuable professional experience this summer? MetroTech Systems is currently accepting applications for our Night Shift Summer Internship Program. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while earning college credit and a competitive hourly wage.
As an intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on skills in logistics, operations, and supply chain management. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and can thrive in a night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist the night shift team with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Perform accurate data entry and record-keeping for daily operations.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Monitor equipment and report any maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) during the summer months.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
