Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, answering inquiries and providing product information.
- Operational Support: Assist the store management team with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory counts.
- Merchandising: Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves and organizing displays according to company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow interns and staff to ensure seamless operations during peak weekend hours.
- Feedback Collection: Participate in weekly briefings to discuss performance, receive constructive feedback, and set goals for the upcoming week.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete required internship paperwork and time logs accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality, dependability, and professional conduct.
- Interest: A genuine interest in retail operations, customer service, or business administration.
- Technology: Basic proficiency with computers, tablets, and POS systems is a plus.
