Responsibilities
- Inventory Monitoring: Assist in the real-time tracking and logging of inventory levels using our proprietary warehouse management systems.
- Data Management: Perform accurate data entry and maintain comprehensive digital logs of daily operational activities and shipments.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Process Support: Collaborate with the night shift supervisors to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the night operations team and the day shift supervisors, ensuring a seamless handover.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and participate in nightly safety briefings.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) for the duration of the summer internship.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data or inventory discrepancies.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and professional conduct.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Nashville, TN (with convenient access from the Georgia border).
