As an intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our night operations run smoothly, providing you with resume-building exposure to real-world logistics challenges.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) during evening shifts to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist the night operations team with inventory receiving, scanning, and categorization.
- Generate and analyze daily operational reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational bottlenecks occurring overnight.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming shipments and log discrepancies immediately.
- Update digital logs and documentation to maintain compliance with company standards.
- Support the implementation of new software tools and assist in training junior staff.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
- Availability to work 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM (Night Shift) for the duration of the summer.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Basic understanding of inventory management concepts and warehouse terminology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
