As a Weekend Shift Intern, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly during peak weekend hours. You will work closely with team leads to learn the ins and outs of retail operations, customer engagement, and inventory management. Responsibilities
- Support Daily Operations: Assist the management team in the efficient execution of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to customers, answering inquiries and resolving issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Inventory Management: Participate in stock counts, merchandise processing, and organizing the sales floor to maintain visual standards.
- Data Entry: Assist with updating customer databases and processing sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless weekend coverage and operational efficiency.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform various other duties as assigned to support the team's goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in High School, College, or University program.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) for the duration of the summer internship.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous work or academic settings.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and bend/twist frequently.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphones/tablets.
