What You Will Do:
We are looking for self-starters who are eager to learn. In this role, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from designing features to deploying code into production environments. This is a paid internship designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Participate in agile development ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to define technical requirements and architecture.
- Debug complex software issues and optimize application performance for scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards and best practices are met.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Node.js.
- Basic understanding of database management systems (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2023.
