Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues across client networks
- Assist in deploying and maintaining Windows/Linux systems and cloud infrastructure
- Document IT processes and create troubleshooting guides for internal teams
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network security implementations
- Monitor system performance and escalate critical incidents
- Support weekend IT audits and system updates
- Train users on new software deployments and security protocols
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related Bachelor's program
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting skills with customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional client site visits
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and basic scripting (Python/PowerShell)
