You will work closely with senior recruiters to source, screen, and place top-tier talent.
As a Summer Intern, you will immerse yourself in the full recruitment lifecycle, from market research to candidate outreach. This is a high-impact role offering a competitive hourly wage and a pathway to a full-time offer upon graduation.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Outreach: Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards to identify and engage potential candidates for open technical roles.
- Screening: Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends in the Detroit and Texas tech hubs to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Onboarding Support: Assist in coordinating interview schedules, preparing candidate materials, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Event Support: Represent Apex Talent Solutions at local career fairs and networking events in Detroit.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) during the summer months with immediate start availability.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, or similar).
- Research Skills: Strong ability to conduct online research and identify key talent pools.
- Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in recruitment and a desire to learn the intricacies of the tech industry.
