This role is perfect for university students looking to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, SEO, and talent sourcing while working in a high-energy environment.
In this position, you will support our senior recruiters in identifying top-tier talent for our client portfolio. You will gain exposure to full-cycle recruiting processes, assist in optimizing job postings for search engines, and contribute to our employer branding efforts. This is a paid opportunity designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for technical and non-technical roles.
- Maintain and update candidate databases in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate and detailed information.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging talent pools and industry trends in the San Jose area.
- Support the optimization of job descriptions and career site content to improve search visibility and applicant quality.
- Communicate with potential candidates via email and phone to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Participate in virtual career fairs and campus recruitment events to represent the company brand.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or a related field (sophomores, juniors, and seniors welcome).
- Demonstrated interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, or digital marketing (SEO).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Available to work 15-20 hours per week, with the possibility of occasional remote work.
