Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Architect hybrid classical-quantum computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum-resistant cryptography implementations for financial and healthcare sectors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop quantum simulation tools for drug discovery and materials science
- Mentor a cross-functional team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum annealing and gate-based quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Track record of translating quantum concepts into commercial applications
- Certification in quantum machine learning (IBM Qiskit or Google Cirq preferred)
