Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for identified future markets
- Present quarterly strategic briefings to the Board of Directors and executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer emerging research
- Quantify market opportunities and risks for exponential technologies using predictive modeling
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts to build organizational foresight capabilities
- Author thought leadership publications on future industry paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into market-ready initiatives
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in scenario planning or foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, GBN)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and technical teams
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
