Responsibilities
- Monitor Operations: Assist in overseeing the night shift workflow, ensuring all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed.
- Data Management: Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date digital records for inventory and shipment tracking.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current night shift processes and suggest innovative solutions to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Team Support: Collaborate closely with the night shift supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve operational bottlenecks immediately.
- Reporting: Generate and compile daily shift reports, highlighting key metrics and any incidents that occurred during the night.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and digital systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) for the duration of the summer internship.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and basic understanding of logistics software is preferred.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
