As a Summer Intern, you will play a crucial role in our 24/7 fulfillment center, ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently during the overnight hours. Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Assist in the accurate receiving, counting, and stocking of inventory to maintain high accuracy levels.
- Data Management: Perform data entry tasks, updating inventory logs and shipment records in our ERP system with precision.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet safety and quality specifications.
- Warehouse Operations: Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently during designated night shifts.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the night shift team and day shift supervisors to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
- Reporting: Assist in generating daily reports regarding stock levels and operational issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program (Junior or Senior status preferred).
- Schedule: Must be available to work night shift hours for the duration of the summer program (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Academic Credit: Must be able to coordinate and receive academic credit for this internship position.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Attributes: Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
