Responsibilities
- Assist Night Shift Supervisors: Support daily operations during evening hours, ensuring efficient workflow and timely processing of cargo.
- Inventory Management: Participate in cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory reconciliation for the night shift.
- Documentation & Reporting: Accurately complete logs, shift reports, and data entry tasks using internal software.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate or assist with the handling of basic warehouse equipment and tools.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift staff and management to ensure seamless handovers.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or associate’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM) during the summer months.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs with assistance.
