Are you a driven student looking for a hands-on experience this summer? Midwest Logistics Solutions is seeking a talented Summer Intern to join our Weekend Operations team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Weekend Operations Intern, you will work closely with our management team to ensure smooth weekend operations, assist with customer service, and support our logistics workflow. We are looking for candidates ready to start in the upcoming Summer/Fall season.
Responsibilities
- Assist the weekend operations team with daily logistics and inventory management tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients visiting the facility on weekends.
- Support the setup and breakdown of weekend events and shifts.
- Enter and verify data into our logistics management systems accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team leads to address operational challenges.
- Perform routine cleaning and organization of the warehouse and office areas.
- Learn and comply with all company safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program (preferred in Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics).
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of the internship.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
