Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and create user personas to inform design decisions
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement design solutions
- Participate in design critiques and present concepts to stakeholders
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on user feedback
- Document design processes and contribute to design system maintenance
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design projects
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during summer months
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
