Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and create user personas to inform design decisions
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design solutions
- Participate in design critiques and iterate based on feedback
- Contribute to our design system documentation and component library
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and explain rationale
- Track project progress using agile methodologies (Jira/Asana)
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in UX design, HCI, or related design program
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design projects
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Experience with user research methods (interviews, surveys)
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative environments
- Available for 20-40 hours/week starting June 1st
