We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our dynamic team in San Diego. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both Technical Recruiting and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). As a paid internship, you will work closely with our senior staff to enhance our employer brand and optimize our digital footprint.

Responsibilities
- Recruiting Support: Assist in screening resumes and conducting initial phone screens for technical roles within the organization.
- SEO Execution: Assist the SEO team in keyword research, on-page optimization, and monitoring website performance using tools like Google Analytics.
- Content Creation: Draft and edit engaging job descriptions and blog posts to improve organic search visibility.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and talent market insights to inform recruitment strategies.
- Database Management: Maintain and update candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accuracy and organization.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of campus recruitment events and webinars in the San Diego area.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional tone.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SEO principles and familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Software Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR/ATS software (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday).
- Availability: Must be available to work 20-25 hours per week during the summer months.
