Apex Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a dedicated Summer Intern to join our night shift operations in Indianapolis. Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Assist in daily stock checks, inventory audits, and replenishment of warehouse shelves.
- Order Fulfillment: Pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Quality Control: Monitor incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies and report findings immediately.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized and adhere to 5S safety standards at all times.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate digital records of inventory movements and shipping logs.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a college program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree) with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Credit Eligibility: Must be eligible to receive college credit for the internship (university confirmation required).
- Schedule: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
