Role Overview:
As a Summer Weekend Intern, you will be the backbone of our weekend team, ensuring that daily operations run seamlessly. You will work closely with full-time staff to execute projects, assist with inventory management, and support customer-facing initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking to apply their academic knowledge to real-world business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Assist the weekend operations team in managing daily workflows, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers/clients in person or via digital channels, resolving inquiries with a positive, professional attitude.
- Inventory Management: Conduct weekly stock counts, organize warehouse spaces, and restock materials to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately input data into our CRM systems and generate simple weekly performance reports for management review.
- Event Coordination: Support the setup and execution of weekend promotional events, including logistics, staffing, and on-site coordination.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays for the duration of the summer internship (June – August).
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous part-time or academic roles.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to commute to our Cleveland office location.
